Welcome message
We are pleased to inform you that the 4th JSH International Liver Conference will be held at Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo on September 25th (Thursday) and 26th (Friday), 2025.
The main theme of this conference is " Cutting-Edge Insights into Liver Diseases: Exploring Bile Acid Metabolism, Gut Microbiota, and Organ Crosstalk." Bile acids influence intestinal bacteria, and bacteria modify bile acids in a wide variety of ways. Modified bile acids return to the liver via the enterohepatic circulation and transmit signals to the liver (gut-liver axis) and then throughout the body, including the brain and immune cells. These topics are currently receiving significant attention in the field of hepatology.
The aim of this academic meeting is to provide researchers in this field, including members of the Japan Society of Hepatology, with the latest information on basic and clinical global trends in hepatology, and to disseminate the latest domestic and international scientific findings to the world.
This conference will be held on-site and the program will consist of symposia, general lectures, and poster sessions. We hope that all participants, including guest speakers from overseas, will actively exchange information and have discussions, further deepen their knowledge of hepatology, and promote interdisciplinary activities together.
We look forward to your support and participation.
